“Bridging the Digital Frontier: Social Media Strategies in India’s Leading Institutes of Technology”

In the ever-evolving landscape of digital communication, social media has emerged as a defining force shaping institutional identity, visibility, and engagement. I am pleased to share that our original research article titled “Bridging the Digital Frontier: The Integration of Social Media Strategy and Promotion in India’s Top 10 Institutes of Technology” has been published in the Scopus-indexed journal- International Journal of Information Science and Management.

This research marks a significant step toward understanding how India’s leading Institutes of Technology harness the power of digital platforms to strengthen their institutional presence and connect meaningfully with diverse audiences. Through the analytical use of tools such as SocialBlade and Phylanx, our study examined the strategic use of social media across platforms including YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter (X). By employing a data-driven approach, we explored patterns of engagement, content dynamics, and branding strategies that define the digital footprints of these premier institutions.

The findings of this study reveal that tailored, platform-specific content-supported by analytics-based strategies-plays a crucial role in enhancing institutional visibility and audience interaction in the higher education sector. This research not only provides actionable insights for academic institutions aiming to refine their digital strategies but also contributes to the growing discourse on how educational entities can build impactful online identities through evidence-based social media practices.

I extend my heartfelt gratitude to my co-authors Kuna Sriram and R. Rega for their invaluable collaboration, insights, and dedication throughout this research journey. Together, we have strived to bridge the gap between traditional academic communication and the dynamic realm of digital engagement, envisioning a future where higher education institutions can thrive in both physical and virtual spheres.
